Zelensky issued a decree on the creation of military administrations in the Luhansk region

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday signed a decree on the formation of military administrations in settlements not controlled by Kyiv in the Lugansk region. Document published on website heads of state.

According to the decree, settlement, rural and city military administrations will appear on the basis of the CAA of the settlements of the Lugansk region. 20 military administrations will be created in the settlements of the Shchastyonsky, Starobelsky and Svatovsky districts of the region.

“In connection with the formation of the military administrations of the settlements specified in part one of this article, the powers of the respective military-civilian administrations of the settlements are terminated from the day the corresponding military administration begins to exercise its powers,” the decree says.

Zelensky instructed the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the regional state administration to take the necessary measures to create administrations.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky ordered the creation of 15 military administrations in the Kherson region. Kirill Stremousov, Deputy Head of the Pro-Russian Regional State Administration declaredthat the decrees of the President of Ukraine have no legal force in the Kherson region, and they are not going to execute them in the region.

September 23 on the territory of the DPR, LPR, as well as on the part of the territories controlled by the Russian Federation in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions of Ukraine started referendums, the preparations for which their representatives announced on 19 September. Voting on the issue of joining Russia will take several days and will take place until September 27.
