The European Union, for the sake of the interests of the United States, “continues to recklessly support neo-Nazis,” said Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova. Her words are given on the website of the ministry.
“The event held on February 3 in Kyiv once again confirmed that for the sake of weakening Russia and serving the hegemonic aspirations of the US and NATO, the European Union continues to recklessly support the neo-Nazi regime in Kyiv,” she said.
According to her, the EU promises Kyiv accession prospects, violating its own requirements for candidates. She also believes that the EU thus stands in solidarity with the suppression of dissent, the violation of freedom of speech and the gross violation of confessional and linguistic rights in Ukraine.
Zakharova added that the EU calls for peace are hypocritical in a situation where countries are investing in the supply of weapons and expanding training programs for the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
