The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that the United States is manipulating the topic of the nuclear threat in its own interests. She spoke about it on air. Sputnik radio.
According to her, the West introduced the nuclear topic into the political discussion, and it all started with the statements of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky about the need for Kyiv to have nuclear weapons. Zakharova believes that it was Zelensky who “finally taxied out” on this topic.
“This topic is being actively introduced by Washington into our global life. They talk about this topic with ease, they develop it, they use … all kinds of manipulations and performances without any restrictions, they are really engaged in total destruction, ”she said.
