Young sambo wrestlers from Chuvashia won eleven medals at the tournament in Yoshkar-Ola
Representatives of Chuvash sambo won four gold medals at the youth interregional tournament in memory of the Hero of Russia, Guard Lieutenant Colonel M.N. Evtyukhin.
The winners of the highest awards in their weight categories were Evgeniy Kharitonov, Vladislav Smirnov, Kamilla Naumova, Yaroslava Kapitonova.
In total, the young sambo wrestlers of Chuvashia have 11 medals. Silver medalists were Alexander Salnikov, David Dmitriev, Vladislav Vasiliev; bronze - Seraphim Ivanov, Diana Vasilyeva, Elizaveta Evdokimova, Anna Pavlova.
The Minister of Sports of Chuvashia Vasily Petrov congratulated not only the athletes, but also the coaches - Alexander Fedorov, Alexey Illarionov, Denis Arsentyev, Andrey Karpunin, Roman Matveev.
“You have once again demonstrated a high level of preparation and the will to win!” - Petrov wrote in his Telegram channel.
