From February 7, the Wildberries marketplace introduces a ban on the sale of nicotine-free vapes and smoking mixtures. As explained in the press service of the company, the ban was introduced in connection with the attempts of some sellers under the guise of nicotine-free products to sell nicotine-containing products, which is prohibited by the rules of the online retailer.

“We are completely limiting the sale of vapes, related liquids and smoking mixtures, even nicotine-free ones. The news about the changes was released for sellers in the offer agreement on January 31, from February 7 they will come into force, ”said a Wildberries representative (quoted by TASS).

It is clarified that from February 7, the sale of nicotine-free smoking devices, vapes, nicotine-free mixtures, as well as various devices and liquids for smoking is prohibited.

January 27 Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law, which from March 1 increases excise rates on cigarettes and cigarettes by 2%, on liquids for vapes and heated tobacco – by 11%. In addition, the State Duma is discussing the issue of banning the sale of vapes. Last year, the Ministry of Industry and Trade spoke against a total ban on e-cigarettes.
