WhatsApp messenger (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned) tests a new feature that allows users to start screen sharing. The control panel will also change in the application and a new button for creating broadcasts will appear.
Innovations are currently only available in the beta version for Android. Screen casting may not work on older operating systems, for users who have not installed the latest version of WhatsApp, or for group calls.
When you turn on the broadcast feature, WhatsApp will display a notification warning you not to show sensitive data to other users. Former WhatsApp introduced the function of editing messages within 15 minutes after they were sent, as well as added the ability to set passwords for chats.
