The atmosphere is calm, people are ready to do their duty

After partial mobilization was announced on September 21, queues of citizens who received summons began to line up at the capital's district military registration and enlistment offices. People stand under umbrellas, hiding from the almost continuously drizzling rain. Many come with a whole group of escorts - parents, wives, girlfriends. The situation at the military commissariats is calm. There is no loud manifestation of emotions, however, when talking, the interlocutors smile.

I served in the army as a tanker, and now, as they say, this is one of the most sought-after specialties. So I will try to serve as efficiently as possible.

“There is no excitement,” says another mobilized. — I am a Russian man and I am going to serve Russia. What should I be worried about?

One of the mourners, the father of the mobilized, is clearly proud of his son. He came to the draft board immediately upon receipt of the summons, reacted positively to what was happening.

“People go to the military registration and enlistment offices on their own, which means that we raised our sons correctly,” notes the mourner.

Among those who received the summons are mostly young people. All in accordance with the order of partial mobilization. First of all, privates up to 35 years old who have served in the army and have an actual military specialty are called up.
