The Pushnovskaya school in the Kola district of the Murmansk region has finally received a full-fledged well-deserved renovation – all thanks to the federal project for the overhaul of schools, initiated by the United Russia party together with the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

According to the director of the school, Olga Badanina, there has been no major overhaul at the school since its construction, that is, since 1974. Of course, some work was carried out, for example, in 1995, as well as over the past few years, but they cannot be called overhauls – then they were engaged in separate offices or territories.

In addition, the first and second floors, the roof over the entire area, corridors, the physics room were repaired, the library was updated and opened in a new location.

“This is a real overhaul: both the facade, the blind areas, and the recreation areas of the school have been renovated, the territory has been greened and the asphalt has been replaced. We bought computer equipment and furniture,” Badanina added.

“We were lucky with the contractor, everything was done neatly and quickly, to the conscience. Even if there were hitches with something, they caught up and did everything quickly. The history of the renovation is generally positive, we did not even expect that we would have such a beautiful school. Everyone is surprised that there is such a school in the village,” said Galina Zabegina, a member of the parental control headquarters at the Public Council.
