Vorobyov promised to provide reservists from the Moscow region with everything they need

The authorities of the Moscow region will do everything necessary to ensure that the military personnel mobilized in accordance with the presidential decree, declared Governor of the region Andrey Vorobyov.

“Our task is to make sure that every reservist who, in accordance with the Decree of the President, will be called from the Moscow region to protect peaceful life in the Donbass, is provided with everything necessary,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The authorities will provide the necessary support to the families of military personnel, Vorobyov stressed.

Earlier today, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization in the country. Thus, only citizens who are in the reserve are subject to military service, and above all those who have served in the ranks of the Armed Forces, have certain military registration specialties and relevant experience. Later, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu stressed that the mobilization would not affect students and conscripts. In total, according to him, 300,000 reservists will be called up.

Employees of military-industrial enterprises will be able to get a deferment. Contracts signed with military personnel will be valid until the end of the partial mobilization period. The only exceptions are cases of dismissal due to age, state of health and in connection with deprivation of liberty by a court verdict.
