Outerwear made from recycled plastic will be produced in Moscow. The capital company, which makes things from apple skin, is expanding its product range.

“Moscow manufacturers today provide the consumer with a wide selection of goods, including clothing. Light industry enterprises are actively developing and offering the market innovative developments and modern materials,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.

The Head of the Department specified that the capital company BOYARI was the first and the only one in Russia to start using an innovative material in the production of products – apple skin. Now the manufacturer has begun producing outerwear made from recycled plastic. The planned production volume is 3-5 thousand items per year.

The new Recycled line will be made from 100% recycled plastic, which illustrates the concept of conscious consumption and sustainability, and also complies with the Global Recycled Standard 4.0. In addition, raincoats and kimono coats can be fully recycled after they are thrown away.

According to Olga Boyarinova, founder and creative director of the brand, modern methods of waste recycling reduce the energy and raw material costs for clothing production, which allows finding a balance between the growing demands of people and the well-being of the planet.
