The former industrial zone “Hammer and Sickle” will be reorganized. Its site will receive a new life under the program of integrated development of territories. The decision on this has already been published on the website of the Moscow government. After the redevelopment, non-residential real estate objects will appear here: business and public. They will employ about 1500 people.

“In the former industrial zone “Hammer and Sickle”, a plot of almost 2 hectares, which is located along Perovsky passage, will be reorganized. Investments in the integrated development of the territory will amount to more than 6.5 billion rubles, and the annual budgetary effect from the implementation of the project will exceed 450 million rubles,” said Deputy Moscow Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Yefimov.

At the moment, the site is occupied mainly by warehouses, car services and car washes. The city or investors selected through bidding have the right to carry out the reorganization.

According to the Minister of the Government of Moscow, head of the Department of City Property Maxim Gaman, the project plans to build more than 60,000 square meters of real estate. In the Nizhegorodsky district, office buildings, shops and family cafes will be erected on the site of the former Serp i Molot industrial zone in the southeast of Moscow. In addition, facilities for exhibitions, fairs and business events may appear here.
