At only 30 years old, the French international of Racing 92 was banned from continuing his career by the medical commission.
The center of the XV of France and Racing 92 Virimi Vakatawa is forced to stop his career as a rugby player at the age of 30 for medical reasons, announced the Top 14 club in a press release.

In 2016, the player of Fijian origin honors his first selection with the XV of France. After missing the Six Nations Tournament, he started with the Blues last July during the tour in Japan.
