This fall, TNT will air a new series by one of the main comedians of modern Russian cinema, Zhora Kryzhovnikov (“Bitter!”, “Call DiCaprio!”, “Relatives”). The Nina series will tell the unusual story of a very large family led by a sweet, gentle and touching woman who, having three marriages behind her and raising three children, is suddenly forced to start her life over and get to know herself.

Nina was happy. At least she thought so. Her third husband, Kostya, a successful businessman, provided not only for her and their common daughter, but also for Nina’s children from other marriages, as well as her ex-husbands. The well-being of all members of this strange family is threatened when Kostya meets another woman who manipulates him.

Nina, along with her children, has to move out of a private house near Nizhny Novgorod and move into a typical flimsy socket, taking with her one of her ex-husbands – a would-be businessman who is used to financial support for his crazy ideas. At the same time, Nina and her middle child, son Danya, are experiencing raids by her second husband, a crazy professor, who is left all alone and is desperately eager to join his family. In addition to Dani, who does not seem to need the love of his own father, the eldest daughter Dasha, who has already taken the path of a romantic relationship, and the younger Masha, who really wants her dad Kostya to return to the family, are also experiencing problems.

The heroine of Victoria Isakova is new in the gallery of female images of TNT. Nina drags on herself all this huge and beloved farce, trying not to break, but she is not one of those women who does not show that it is hard for them. Nina cries, asks for help and wants Kostya to return, but with every difficulty she becomes stronger, gains ground under her feet and learns to live anew in harmony with herself.

Zhora Kryzhovnikov: “The Nina series is a big story about parting with illusions, meeting reality, gaining new skills and, in this regard, gaining self-confidence as a person who can rely on no one but himself. Our Nina had a family, and that was enough for her. She believed in her role as a housewife, thought that she would only be with her family, but her life changed. Now Nina is placed in a situation where she needs to learn how to live. But Nina does not lose hope that she will rebuild her life. Our series is a universal story about how to forget how to do everything together and become independent.”

Together with Victoria Isakova, a dramatic actress who brought a lyrical mood to the comedy series, Sergei Burunov starred in Nina in his most unusual role, Andrei Burkovsky, Sergei Lavygin, Yulia Khlynina, Valentina Lyapina, Evgeny Perevalov, Irina Rozanova and others. The series was handled by Tumach Production, produced by Zhora Kryzhovnikov and Galina Strizhevskaya. The scriptwriters are Zhora Kryzhovnikov, Karina Chuvikova, Yegor Chichkanov, Anastasia Dyukareva, Yulia Savenkova, Marina Voevoda.
