Capital dairies supplied more than 26,000 tons of products to Moscow dairy kitchens under an offset contract. With the help of offset, an important task was solved – the creation of local production of food products, including dry milk formulas.

“Under the terms of the contract, Moscow will purchase milk formulas, juices, purees, cereals and other products for pregnant women and children for a total of 30.6 billion rubles from enterprises over 8 years. Dairy kitchens of the city have received more than 9 million sets of products since the beginning of the year,” said Deputy Moscow Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Yefimov.

Under the contract, the factories were modernized. The volume of investments in these projects amounted to more than 2.1 billion rubles.

“Lines for the production of dry milk mixtures, juices and purees were created at the enterprises, as well as equipment was updated. Every year, these plants produce over 1.3 billion product packages. This makes it possible to cover about 20% of the citywide demand of the capital’s residents for dairy products,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department.

“Thanks to the conclusion of a long-term offset contract, we can be sure that all Muscovites who visit our dairy distribution points receive fresh and high-quality products in a timely manner,” said Yulia Antipova, Deputy Head of the Depzdrav.
