Secretary of the General Council of “United Russia” Andrey Turchak proposed to legislate the minimum share of domestic products in grocery chain stores. The party also supported the idea of ​​placing booths with Russian goods at the entrances to shopping centers.

“This will enable our manufacturers to use the shopping traffic of large stores. It is necessary to continue the popularization of domestic products. She needs high-quality information and marketing support. To this end, the party is holding various actions in support of Russian manufacturers,” Andrey Turchak said at the all-Russian meeting of United Russia on the topic of import substitution. His words are quoted by the press service of United Russia in its Telegram channel.

Also, during the meeting, First Deputy Minister of Industry Vasily Osmakov announced the preparation of amendments on the priority of Russian goods in public procurement. Andrei Turchak added that United Russia would support the initiative. “We are ready to work closely so that during the spring session all amendments to federal legislation, including those on industrial policy, are adopted,” he said.

Mr. Turchak said that in Russia it is necessary to develop an import substitution exchange, which was previously created by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. “It is necessary to improve the information exchange between suppliers and manufacturers. The Ministry of Industry has already created an import substitution exchange, where some can leave applications for products in demand, while others can respond to them, ”he added.

Formerly RBC informedthat Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov recommended that regional authorities open kiosks with clothes and food at the entrances to shopping centers and shops.
