Ultimate Education holding bought out 65% of Moscow Digital School

The educational holding Ultimate Education acquired 65% of the authorized capital of Moscow Digital School, the press service of the holding said. The founders of the company, Dmitry Zakharov and Alexander Zhuravlev, will each have 15%, and 5% were acquired by Alexander Panov, a partner in the law firm BGP Litigation, who will participate in business development as an operating director. The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Moscow Digital School specializes in training lawyers and lawyers in the field of digital law. The school was founded in 2019 by Dmitry Zakharov, ex-Head of Antimonopoly Risk Management at Norilsk Nickel, and Alexander Zhuravlev, Managing Partner at EBR law firm.
The company offers programs in such areas as a lawyer in the field of IT, eSports and gaming, blockchain, personal data protection, M&A, etc. In 2022, Moscow Digital School began to train financiers and data analysts. At the end of the third quarter, the revenue of Moscow Digital School is 103.8 million rubles, compared to the same period last year, the growth rate was 421% (revenue in 2021 by the end of the third quarter was 24.6 million rubles).
The Ultimate Education educational holding was founded by the investment company Ultimate Capital in 2020. Combines several online schools, including Fashion Factory, XYZ, Psychodemia, Bang Bang Education and MAED Academy. The holding’s annual revenue, according to its own data, is more than 1.2 billion rubles.
