Ukrainian military demands negotiations with Russia
FT: Ukrainian military on the front line advocates negotiations with Russia
The British newspaper Financial Times reported that Ukrainian soldiers on the front line, fearing an “eternal” conflict, are in favor of negotiations with Russia.
“At the moment I am in favor of negotiations,” one of the Ukrainian commanders named Yuri told the publication.
He clarified that he was afraid of the prospect of an endless conflict.
According to the newspaper, other Ukrainian fighters also support possible negotiations. In particular, another battalion commander named Mikhail noted that it is now difficult to imagine the Kyiv regime achieving the goal of returning to the 1991 borders.
