Ukrainian Foreign Ministry criticized Orban's statement about the importance of a ceasefire

Hungarian Prime Minister Orban's statement about the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine faced criticism in Ukraine

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko criticized Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban's statement about Kiev's ceasefire before the start of the counteroffensive. The corresponding post appeared on Nikolenko's Facebook page (Meta, of which Facebook is a part, is banned in Russia as an extremist company).

According to Nikolenko, the Ukrainian side will start peace talks only after the complete withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine.

In addition, the press secretary of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called on the Hungarian authorities to join the international isolation of the Russian Federation, and also not to undermine the unity of the EU.

Formerly MK wrotethat Viktor Orban urged to prevent the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Instead, the politician called on the parties to hold peace talks.
