The supply of electricity from the Zaporozhye NPP to the territory controlled by the Kyiv regime has been stopped. This was done unilaterally by Ukraine. This information was shared by Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the military-civilian administration of the Zaporozhye region.

He stressed that electricity from Ukraine is not accepted consciously, since the technical possibility of transmitting electricity there has been preserved. According to Rogov, now the territories of Zaporozhye and Kherson regions liberated from Ukrainian nationalists are provided with electricity.

Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe in terms of the number of power units and capacity. Since March, the ZNPP territory has been controlled by the Russian military. This was done to prevent leaks of radioactive materials. Artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regularly shells the station itself and the city of Energodar.

Earlier, the capacity of the sixth power unit was reduced due to shelling to 135 MW. At the moment, he is the only worker of the six available.
