The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Ukraine called on the European Union, NATO, the G7 countries to increase sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation, as well as to increase the supply of long-range artillery and tanks to Kyiv. This is stated in the statement of the diplomatic department, which is published on their official website.

“Ukraine calls on the EU, NATO and the Group of Seven to immediately significantly increase pressure on the aggressor state, including tough new sanctions against Russia, and significantly increase military support for Ukraine,” the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The department noted that most of all the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) need combat aircraft, armored vehicles, long-range artillery, as well as air defense and missile defense.

On September 22, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky demanded that Germany supply Kyiv with battle tanks, namely Leopard.
