Tula athletes won medals at the WTF Open International Taekwondo Anniversary Tournament. The sports event was organized by the Union for the Development of Martial Arts “West-East”. Competitions were held from 1 to 2 October in the city of Kotelniki.
The sports event was attended by 350 athletes from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kaluga, Moscow regions, the Republic of Chuvashia, the cities of Samara, Yaroslavl, Lipetsk, Tver.
Tula athletes managed to achieve the following results:
– In the weight category of 52 kilograms Astashkin Dmitry and Nemykina Marina won gold.
– Kirill Burikov won gold in the +57 kg weight category.
– In the weight category of 28 kilograms Darya Cherkasova won a silver medal.
– In the weight category of 37 kilograms Puganova Sofia won bronze.
