Russians transferred four times more money to Armenia in 2022 than in 2021 — $3.6 billion compared to $865.6 million. The volume of transfers from Armenia to Russia increased by 12.7% to $453 million. This is evidenced by statistical data Central Bank of Armenia.

In the last month of 2022 – December – the volume of transfers to Armenia amounted to $422.9 million (five times more than in the same period of 2021). $60.5 million was transferred from Armenia to Russia, which was the second largest result in 2022 (the highest figure in March was $61.2 million).

Over the past year, Russians have transferred a record amount of money to other neighboring countries. For example, transfers to Uzbekistan grew up in a year by 2.6 times – up to $ 14.5 billion. Russians to Kyrgyzstan translated a record $2.6 billion in a year.
