Transfers: Claudio Gomes three years in Palermo

After four years at Manchester City and two loans (to PSV Eindhoven and Barnsley), Claudio Gomes flew to Italy. The young 22-year-old midfielder, trained at Paris-SG, will sign up for three seasons with Palermo. The resident of the transalpine D2 is also a satellite club of the City Group.
Gomes comes out of a full season in the Championship where he played 31 Championship matches (including 28 starts) with Barnsley.
