Traffic closures introduced from December 2 in the center and south-west of Moscow

From 22:00 on December 2, restrictions on the movement of vehicles and parking are introduced on the streets along the route of compensatory buses for metro passengers and the roads adjacent to them.

Recall that from December 3 to December 7, inclusive, the section of the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya metro line from the Oktyabrskaya station to the Novye Cheryomushki station closes due to the construction of the tunnel of the Troitskaya metro line, which will pass under this section. Compensatory buses will be launched for metro passengers and an additional lane will be allocated for their movement. In addition, there are restrictions for motorists. This was reported in the capital Deptrans.

Thus, the exit from Garibaldi Street to Profsoyuznaya Street will be closed. Alternative exit routes are through Nakhimovsky Prospekt or Nametkina Street. Traffic restrictions are also being introduced on six neighboring sections of Leninsky Prospekt and Profsoyuznaya Street.

In addition, exits from the courtyards of house 28, building 1 on Garibaldi Street and house 2A on Leninsky Prospekt will be limited.

“On Garibaldi Street, residents can use the rest of the courtyard passages. And from Donskoy Street to Apakov passage, you can go along Leninsky Prospekt, Shabolovka Street or Mytnaya Street, ”the Deptrans message says.

At the exit from the TTK to Leninsky Prospekt towards the region, the movement of cars will be possible only on two lanes out of four.

Taxi drivers will not be able to use additional dedicated lanes and dedicated lines on Leninsky Prospekt.

Also, on 16 sections of Profsoyuznaya Street, 60th Anniversary of October Avenue, understudy of Leninsky Avenue, Academician Pilyugin Street and some others, parking will be banned.

Restrictions for motorists will be in effect until the opening of the metro section between the Oktyabrskaya and Novye Cheryomushki stations. Presumably they will be removed on the morning of December 8, but perhaps this will happen a little earlier.
