On February 3, Tomsk hosts participants in the All-Russian competitions in mountaineering and ice climbing.
In the area of the Tomsk springboard, on the street. Koroleva, 36, athletes from Tomsk and those who came from other regions of the country will compete in two disciplines – “Speed” and “Difficulty”.
The discipline “Speed” means running on vertical ice, “Difficulty” is movement on the ice rink with the help of various tools with unusual names – crampons, ice hammers, etc.

In the speed competition, participants need to climb a vertical ice wall 15 meters high as quickly as possible. As ice tools in this form, special hooks are used, which are called ice-fifi.
The strongest athletes of the country in several age groups will participate in the competition: 11-12 years old, 13-15 years old, 16-18 years old and juniors / juniors – 19-21 years old.
