Business Ombudsman Boris Titov suggested that Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin grant a deferment from the mobilization of workers in the manufacturing industry. We are talking about managers, their deputies and chief technical specialists from the machine-building, chemical, petrochemical, timber, metallurgical, food, light industries and other manufacturing industries.

Mr. Titov said that he received information about the call of the heads of enterprises. He believes that the suspension of their work will disrupt the production cycle and reduce the country’s production potential. “The distraction of a key specialist of an industrial enterprise from his direct duties can cause no less damage to the economy than this or that external sanction entails,” the Ombudsman said in a statement (quoted from “Interfax”).

Since September 21 in Russia by decree of Vladimir Putin announced partial mobilization. Mintsifry amounted to a list of 195 specialties in the fields of IT and communications, for which a deferment from mobilization is recommended. By data Kommersant, pilots, air traffic controllers and sailors have already lined up to receive a deferment. Electronics manufacturers have requested reservations for their specialists, and associations of pharmaceutical companies are going to do the same soon.

On the grounds for obtaining a deferment – in the material “Kommersant” “Diploma defense”.
