Three Russians detained in Norway with drones decided to be released



Three Russian citizens who were detained in the Norwegian province of Nordland due to filming with drones will be released from custody. This is reported by the publication VG, citing lawyers.

Four Russians were detained last week in the Mosjøen area after they were spotted allegedly filming objects that should not be filmed. By court order, they were arrested. On Friday, October 21, lawyers for the Russians reported that three of them, including one woman, had been decided to be released.

So the defender of the Russian woman said that his ward is glad to be released and intends to return to Mosjoen, where their car is, in order to return home later.

In turn, the lawyer of the fourth detained Russian also expressed confidence that he would soon be released.

Earlier it became known that a total of seven citizens of the Russian Federation with drones were recently detained in Norway. Due to sanctions, Russians are prohibited from filming using drones in the country.
