Three districts of Smolensk were left without heating and hot water due to an accident

In three districts of Smolensk there was an emergency shutdown of heating and hot water. Shutdowns were introduced due to an accident on the heating networks. This is reported on website Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Smolensk region.

The ministry said that there are 293 residential buildings in the shutdown zone, in which 31 thousand people live. Also, 48 socially significant objects were in the shutdown zone.

There was a leakage of network water on Sobolev Street. Rescue and recovery work is carried out at damaged facilities. Specialists dismantle the damaged section of the pipe and pump out water in thermal chambers.

The prosecutor’s office of the Smolensk region organized a check on the fact of a utility accident. During the audit, it is also planned to recalculate utility bills, according to Telegram channel prosecutors.
