The forecast of the Ministry of Economy regarding the dynamics of volumes and prices of Russian oil and gas exports remains a fair amount of optimism against the backdrop of accidents at the Nord Stream gas pipelines and the upcoming EU embargo on oil from the Russian Federation. Next year, the ministry expects oil exports to grow amid falling supplies of gas and oil products, as well as a sharp decline in the average gas price while maintaining relatively stable oil prices in 2024-2025. Experts call the forecast plausible, but note that it may be revised after the ban on the import of oil and oil products from Russia into the EU.
