The summer festival of provincial theaters is being held for the fifth time. The ceremonial start was given in the cultural center “Usadba Krivyakino” in Voskresensk. The festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Moscow Region. Vasily Kuznetsov, Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Moscow Region, and Sergei Bezrukov, artistic director of the festival, spoke about the novelties of the season.

“Today, here in Voskresensk, on the open area of the manor park, the guests of the festival are presented with the premiere of the performance of the Moscow Provincial Theater “Dog in the Manger”. Performances in such an accessible form provide another opportunity to touch art. After a performance in the park, residents may become interested, motivated to continue attending performances – already in the theaters of the Moscow region,” said Vasily Kuznetsov.

The Stanislavsky Factory will end on June 10 at the Moscow Provincial Theatre. There will be selected winners of the award for best female and best male role, as well as for the best acting ensemble and acting duo. The winners will receive commemorative figurines – exclusive mini-sculptures of Stanislavsky “I Believe”.

“Each time we choose to host the festival a new interesting and significant cultural place for the Moscow region, for the audience. Energetically here, in the Krivyakino Estate, you feel absolutely fantastic. This year, the Stanislavsky Factory competition program will feature performances by groups from 8 regions of Russia,” said Sergey Bezrukov.
