The opening of the All-Russian Youth Forum "Mashuk 2022" took place in Pyatigorsk on Sunday, Interfax reports.

“The more people get to know each other at such a young age, their country, mentality, the easier it will be for us to work with each other and build a happy future for our country. This is what we expect from Mashuk, and this task will always remain with him, ”said Vladimir Vladimirov, head of the Stavropol Territory, at the opening.

In turn, Anton Serikov, Deputy General Director of the ANO "Russia - a Land of Opportunities", noted the extensive educational program of the forum in 2022.

“This year we have a large educational program that we are conducting at the forum. This is not just communication with speakers, a story about interesting people, but these are the tools that we want to pass on from experts to the guys, ”he said during a conversation with reporters.

This year, the main topic of the forum was the Year of the Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia, and its educational program included lectures, master classes, social case studies.

For the first time this year, a design and practical part was organized, including a study of the features of Pyatigorsk, its historical sites, and communication with local residents. The participants will transform the experience gained into an educational or educational product.

Also, the forum participants will traditionally present their projects at the Rosmolodezh grant competition. The amount of support will be determined depending on the significance, quality and needs of the project. The winners will be determined based on the results of public defense and a comprehensive peer review of each initiative.

About 1,000 young people from Russia, the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics participate in the forum. In addition to them, about the same number will become participants in the digital change of the forum.
