The young Kostroma resident returned from Rybinsk from a weightlifting tournament with a gold medal
On September 29, an open city weightlifting tournament among teenagers took place in Rybinsk. The competition was dedicated to the memory of weightlifter Eduard Grunsky and brought together representatives of this sport from the Yaroslavl, Ivanovo and Kostroma regions.
Our region was represented at the competition by the young athlete Artur Lobanov, coached by his father Artem Lobanov. And he trains successfully - Arthur has become a prize-winner of powerlifting competitions more than once. Arthur didn’t disappoint in the weightlifting either - performing in the “37 kilograms” category, he, being the youngest participant in the competition, won a landslide victory, at the same time setting his personal record in the barbell: snatch - 33 kg, clean and jerk - 45 kg. The next competition in which the young Kostroma Hercules will perform will be held in Cairo - there Arthur Lobanov will perform at the international crossfit tournament “ELFIT”.
