After the accident, the alleged killer threatened to stab the opponent

At the trial of the alleged organizers of the assassination attempt on the famous singer Abraham Russo on Wednesday, all attention was paid to the possible killer Mikhail Demkin. Recall, unlike the other two defendants, he did not live to see the trial, so he is tried in absentia.

Recall that in August 2006, an unknown person fired at the car in which Rousseau himself and his bodyguard Roman Fetisov were traveling. The investigation believes that the well-known Azerbaijani businessman Telman Ismailov could have been the customer. The alleged perpetrators Vitaly Dzhura and Aleksey Tryasnikov are being tried in the Khamovniki Court. Today, however, the meeting was dedicated to Demkin. The public prosecutor and the defense side interrogated the witness Yevgeny Titarenko, who in the same 2006 became a participant in an accident, the culprit of which, as he is sure, was Mikhail Demkin.

Judging by the story of the witness, Demkin was both a bribe taker and a person capable of threatening both enemies and their loved ones.

– When we got out of the cars, he approached me and offered 5 thousand rubles – like, hush up, solve the matter. I refused, offered to call the traffic police, so that everything was in accordance with the rules. Later, he again approached and began to threaten that he would stab me! – without restraining emotions, the witness recalled during the interrogation by the prosecutor.

Then, according to Titarenko’s story, “Dyomkin’s friends” arrived – and began to intelligibly explain that the issue needed to be resolved. There were arguments like: “Do you understand how much this Lexus (Dyomkin’s car – approx. Auth.) costs? Do you understand what kind of people were sitting in it?

Later, as the witness recalled during the interview, Dyomkin reappeared – with an unambiguous wish, which he voiced to Titarenko’s mother: “Follow the fate of your son.”

The public prosecutor is going to interview several more witnesses. The next meeting on the high-profile case will take place tomorrow, September 22.
