Blinken: US is not an enemy for Russians
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the United States is not the enemy of the Russians.
According to Blinken, Washington has maintained a stable cooperative relationship with Moscow for 30 years, and the US leadership considers Russia’s security and prosperity to be in US interests.
“We didn’t want to overthrow the Russian government, we didn’t have such a goal,” Blinken said at an event organized by the Finnish Institute of International Affairs at the Helsinki City Hall building. He said that the future of Russia should be chosen by the Russians.
