At the end of December 2022, the average payment for compulsory motor third party liability insurance (OSAGO) amounted to 91,314 rubles. This is 23% more than in December 2021 and 28% more than in January 2022. According to the Russian Union of Motor Insurers (RSA), in the same period, an average increase in prices for spare parts by 28% was recorded.

At the end of December 2022, the average payment for OSAGO amounted to 91,314 rubles, which is 23% more than in December 2021 and 28% more than in January 2022 (71,379 rubles).

The average premium for OSAGO increased slightly, follows from the data of the PCA. At the end of 2022, in general, it amounted to 6,793 rubles, an increase of 21%. The average premium for passenger cars increased by 17% to 6,370 rubles. In terms of Casco, the average premium increased from 39,805 rubles. up to 40,052 rubles.

“The growth in the cost of spare parts naturally led to a sharp increase in payments, and to a slower, but still noticeable increase in the average premium for OSAGO,” the president said. SAR Yevgeny Ufimtsev, his words are given on the website of the union.

According to the information project OSAGO: Public Expertise, in 2022, first of all, auto parts from manufacturers who left the Russian market went up in price in Russia. For some car brands, the growth was more than 50%. The growth of the average cost of spare parts for cars of Russian brands amounted to 12%.
