The women’s team of Buryat State University, which represented the republic at the championship of the Siberian and Far Eastern federal districts among women’s student and amateur teams in Kemerovo, won the small final. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Sports of Buryatia.
The championship was held as part of the national futsal championship among women’s teams – the First League of the 2022-2023 season from March 16 to 20.
– Student sports at BSU have always been on the rise, constantly reaching new heights, – said the Minister of Sports and Youth Policy of Buryatia Ivan Kozyrev. – Confirmation of this is the recent victory of the student sports club of the university “Baikal Wolves” in the republican competition in the field of physical culture and sports in the nomination “Best Sports Club”.
The press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic notes that Victoria Vorobyova, a student of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of BSU, was recognized as the best scorer of the tournament.
