Madosh Tambwe, who arrived at Union Bordeaux-Bègles this summer from the Harks of Durban, did not take long to make a name for himself in the Top 14. For the UBB’s first match of the season, against Stade Toulousain, the Congolese winger struck a blow by signing a superb double against the Red and Black.

A double blow that is anything but a surprise for his teammate, international scrum-half Maxime Lucuwho told us before the start of the season: “It’s a bomb! He is explosive, somewhat in the same style as Cheslin Kolbe. I didn’t know him and I was very surprised watching him in training: puncher, strong, extremely well prepared physically.
