Yana Lantratova, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on Education, suggested that FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov regulate the activities of military-patriotic clubs, as well as strengthen control over them.
At the same time, the deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education noted that the activities of military-patriotic clubs are part of the system of additional education and are not subject to licensing, and are not enshrined in the federal law “On Education”.
In addition, Lantratova noted that the allegedly Belarusian opposition published a message calling for the creation of military sports organizations in order to “prepare for the liberation of Belarus.”
