Anatoly Aksakov, head of the State Duma committee on the financial market, said that the losses of banks from writing off debts to those mobilized who died during the military operation would amount to 1-2% of their profits. Mr. Aksakov is a co-author of the bill on credit holidays for the mobilized, which was adopted this week.

In an interview with a newspaper “News” the deputy said that there are risks for banks, but “small”. “According to the estimates of the Ministry of Finance, the potential losses of credit institutions are no more than 1-2% of net profit,” says Anatoly Aksakov.

September 28 State Duma accepted law on credit holidays for mobilized citizens and members of their families. Initially, the law concerned those who were called up as part of the mobilization, but then its effect distributed on volunteers. Also in the State Duma promised to write off the loans of military personnel who received a disability in Ukraine. FSSP already suspended collection of debts from the mobilized.
