The State Duma approved a plan for the implementation of the President’s message

The State Duma approved a plan to implement the provisions of the message of the President of Russia to the Federal Assembly. This was announced by the First Vice Speaker of the State Duma Alexander Zhukov, who heads the Duma working group on the implementation of the provisions of the President’s annual messages.

“The draft plan was formed from the proposals of factions and committees of the State Duma, taking into account the list of instructions of the President of the Russian Federation on the implementation of the message to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. The draft plan is based on both legislative initiatives submitted and not submitted to the State Duma,” TASS quoted him as saying.

In total, the plan includes 72 points, and the Duma has already fulfilled 16 of them. In the first reading, the State Duma adopted 25 bills, in the second – five, 12 more drafts were submitted for consideration.

Another 12 points of the plan provide for the joint preparation of draft laws by the government and deputies. Two other points relate to the allocation of funds from the budget for the implementation of the activities of the message in this and subsequent years. The integration of new territories into the legal field of the Russian Federation is devoted to a “rather large” section, Zhukov added.

Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke with a message to the Federal Assembly on February 21. During his address, Putin noted that the goal of Western countries in Ukraine is to transfer a local conflict into a phase of global confrontation and the strategic defeat of Russia. The president explained the beginning of the NWO with a desire to protect the country. In addition, the head of state called on entrepreneurs to invest in the country, announced Russia’s unilateral suspension of participation in the Strategic Offensive Arms Treaty (START III), and called on the government to prepare additional measures to deoffshorize the economy.
