It will affect some categories of citizens

Against the background of the difficult economic situation in the world, the Russian authorities are taking various measures aimed at helping citizens. In particular, the State Duma plans to submit for consideration the issue of increasing the fixed parts of some social pensions, as told by a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs, deputy Svetlana Bessarab.

In an interview with Lenta.ru Bessarab noted that at the last meeting of the committee on labor, social policy and veterans' affairs, two government bills aimed at improving the quality of life of Russians were supported. One of them, according to the politician, will affect the disabled, and the other - the introduction of an unclaimed procedure for assigning a pension in the event of loss of a breadwinner for children under 18 or under 23 years old who study full-time in educational organizations.

In addition, as the parliamentarian noted, the issue of increasing the fixed part of the pensions of Russians who have worked for the corresponding period in the regions of the Far North and in agriculture is currently under consideration.

According to Bessarab, Russia is gradually moving towards the fact that people no longer have to collect certificates and stand in lines. The parliamentarian concluded that soon citizens will be able to receive all the payments due to them without application.
