The richest heir according to Forbes for many years is Yusuf Alekperov ($20.5 billion), the only son of the largest shareholder of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperova. The second line of the rating is occupied by the daughter and son of the founder of EuroChem and SUEK Andrey Melnichenko ($12.6 billion for each). In third place are the children of the co-owner of SIBUR and NOVATEK Leonid Michelson – Victoria and her brother (his name is not specified). Each is worth $10.8 billion.

They are followed by two sons and a daughter of the head of the Novolipetsk Iron and Steel Works Vladimir Lisin – Dmitry, Yuri and Anastasia ($7.35 billion each). Rounds out the top five Jahangir Mahmudov ($ 7.3 billion), the only child of the main shareholder of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company Iskander Makhmudov.
