The son of the head of the Crimea, Oleg Aksyonov, was drafted into the army as part of a partial mobilization, his father Sergei Aksyonov told reporters. According to him, his son, born in 1997, served in the Russian Aerospace Forces.

“The law is the same for everyone. Today my son was called up, in the morning he left for the unit, on the territory of the unit. Therefore, today I also saw him off from the military registration and enlistment office, like other conscripts. I am proud of him,” said Mr. Aksenov.

The head of the republic also said that the mobilized Crimeans would first be sent to the military units of Sevastopol for retraining and combat coordination.
