In the Urals, a university student was kicked out of class because of “too open” clothes

A student of the Ural Mining University told reporters that she could not get to classes because of the ban on letting her into the university building – the reason was her clothes. According to the girl, a security guard stopped her and said that her skirt was too short.

How informs “Rise”, the day before, an announcement appeared on the doors of the university, which announced a ban on “unnecessarily open clothes” – shorts, short skirts, T-shirts and tops. The students reacted negatively to the innovation, noting that the region was hot, and air conditioning was not provided in the premises of the university. One of the girls decided to ignore the ban and put on a skirt for class. According to the student, the piece of clothing was quite an acceptable length, besides, she wore shorts under it.

“However, they wanted to kick me out of the university because of her,” the girl said.

She noted that she would not mind following a stricter dress code, but “it is stuffy in the classrooms and corridors” and there is a risk of heat stroke.

“I pay to go to university,” added the student, “and I certainly can’t get kicked out because the guard found the length of my skirt unacceptable.”
