The Russian delegation's flight, which changed course due to Iranian attacks, landed in Moscow


The special flight of the Russian delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, en route to Qatar, landed in Moscow, correspondents report TASS And "RIA Novosti". After Iran closed its airspace during attacks on Israel, the plane was forced to turn around and land in Mineralnye Vody to refuel. On board the plane, in addition to Dmitry Chernyshenko and Mikhail Degtyarev, were Deputy Minister of Economic Development Maxim Kolesnikov and other members of the delegation. Representatives of the Russian side were traveling to Qatar to participate in the third summit of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue, which will be held on October 2–3.

“The situation is tense, the crew acted professionally, thank you... We landed in Russia, in Mineralnye Vody,” Mr. Degtyarev commented on what happened (quoted by RIA Novosti).

The plane took off from Moscow airport at approximately 19:00; arrival in Qatar was expected around 00:30 Moscow time.
