If Russia moves from a special operation in Ukraine to a full-scale war against it, then the Kyiv regime will soon fall, declared Russian Ambassador to Sweden Viktor Tatarintsev in a comment to Expressen.
“The Russian side is conducting a special operation. This is not a war. If Russia starts a real war, Ukraine will be finished in a very short time,” he said.
Commenting on the course of the special operation, the ambassador said: “We are winning, you must write it down.” Tatarintsev also doubted that Russia could be isolated from the rest of the world.
On February 24, Russia launched a special operation in Ukraine. Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. In March, the president emphasized that the decision to conduct a special operation was connected with a “real threat” to Russia, which arose because of Ukraine’s desire to join NATO and statements by the Ukrainian authorities about the possibility of acquiring nuclear weapons.
After the start of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, Western countries imposed large-scale sanctions against Russia, and also began to provide financial and military assistance to Kyiv.
