Britain does not want to officially participate in the conflict in Ukraine, said Russian Ambassador to London Andrey Kelin.
“Here it is against the fact that Britain officially participates in the conflict itself, this will not happen, the government will not allow this, although now there is more and more talk about the participation of a large number of mercenaries in the Donbass,” he said on the air of Rossiya-24.
Kelin added that the UK intends to continue to provide financial and technical assistance to Ukraine, although he believes that the country has little money left for this.
He also said that among young people, less than 50% approve of support for Kyiv, and among adults, 60-80% approve of it.
