Today, September 18, Kostroma “Spartak” plays with the second team of the Moscow “Torpedo”. On the eve of this meeting, football analysts have presented some rather interesting statistics regarding the popularity of Second League teams in their cities. It turned out that this figure for our red and white clubs is phenomenally high: in terms of attendance at home matches of the last 3 months, Spartak Kostroma was in the top three most popular clubs, and in terms of August 2022, it generally came out on top among all (and they are generally -to 72) clubs of the Second League. An average of 2.9 thousand people gathered for Spartak’s matches at the Harvest stadium in August – that is, the stadium, designed for 3300 spectators, was filled by 89.3% (!).
So you can’t complain about the devotion of your fans to Spartak … but, alas, you can complain about its results to the fans: our red-and-whites won the last victory at the end of July …
Let’s hope that the current game, which will start at 14:00, will not give the Kostroma players any reason to be disappointed in their team…
