The queue of cars has disappeared on the border of Russia and Georgia

There is no longer a line of cars on the border of the Russian Federation with Georgia, the press service of the North Caucasus Customs Administration said.

It is also noted that there are no people from among those wishing to cross the border there either. At the same time, since October 4, 605 passenger cars have been registered on the customs website on the workload of automobile checkpoints at the exit from the Russian Federation.

On September 28, North Ossetia banned the entry of cars from other regions. The entry of cars into the territory of the republic was restricted, with the exception of those registered in North Ossetia, South Ossetia and Georgia.

The Ministry of Justice of Georgia, as previously reported, from February to September granted requests for residence permits in the country from more than two thousand Russian citizens.
