The Central District Court of Omsk will consider an administrative case at the request of the city prosecutor, demanding that the delay granted to employees of a number of enterprises during partial mobilization be recognized as illegal. The trial is set for February 15.

According to the press service of the district court, the lawsuit states that the Omsk draft board, in violation of the law, granted a deferment to employees of 14 organizations. “The administrative plaintiff believes that the granting of a delay does not comply with the provisions of the current legislation, since the organizations did not take part in the state defense order,” the district court said in a statement.

The prosecutor’s office did not respond to Kommersant’s request. The defendants in the case in the case card are the draft commissions of the city and the Omsk region, the regional military registration and enlistment office.

The list of interested parties in the case includes 12 legal entities. Among them are JSCB Novikombank, Omsk Kauchuk JSC, Gazpromneft-Snabzhenie LLC, Omsk Pipe Insulation Plant LLC.
